We broke down!

Well, it's been an eventful weekend - we sat in a random industrial estate for about 3 hours, and then sat on the m20 for a few hours, and then spent another few hours at a service station and eventually got home after 11 hours.

Fault was the points/condenser etc giving up - the AA man helped us bodge it on the Saturday - all seemed fine so we carried on our way to Kent - leaving on Sunday to go to Herne bay - he packed up on the side of the M20 - the distributor was dead and the timing was out hideously.
